Terms & Conditions

PTAD-IAS Platform

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using PTAD-IAS you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. About PTAD-IAS

PTAD-IAS provides digital services to support PTAD's statutory mandate (DBS enrolment, "I Am Alive" confirmation, computation/payroll, communications and support). PTAD operates under the Pension Reform Act 2014 and PenCom oversight.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be an eligible pensioner/NoK/authorized staff/agent using accurate information. Keep credentials confidential; you are responsible for activities under your account unless caused by PTAD negligence.

4. Permitted Use

Use PTAD-IAS only for lawful purposes related to PTAD services. Do not interfere with security, misuse data, or attempt unauthorised access.

5. Service Availability

PTAD aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows and incidents may occur; PTAD will take reasonable steps to restore services and protect data integrity (including backups and rollbacks).

6. Content & Records

Information you submit must be accurate and complete. Submissions may be used to verify eligibility, compute entitlements, and fulfil legal duties.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

PTAD processes personal data per the PTAD-IAS Privacy Policy and applicable law (NDPA/NDPR). Where consent is required, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.

8. Communications

PTAD may contact you about enrolment, verification, payments, complaints and security. For "I Am Alive" issues, use the dedicated channel below.

9. Third-Party Services

Where PTAD-IAS integrates with third-party services (e.g., banks, identity tools, hosting), those providers process data under PTAD's instructions or their own legal obligations.

10. Intellectual Property

PTAD-IAS software, logos and content are owned by PTAD or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the service for PTAD purposes only.

11. Disclaimers & Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PTAD provides PTAD-IAS "as is" and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing excludes liability where prohibited by Nigerian law.

12. Changes

PTAD may update these Terms and will indicate the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the service or via email/SMS.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Nigerian law and subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts/agencies with statutory oversight of pensions and data protection.
